v1.0 — The first Itsutsu

Five 2-second shots a day, automatic stitching, saving to Photos. A gentle monochrome UI, text-free controls, and a design that runs entirely on your device. Starting with a private test (TestFlight), heading toward an App Store release.

The result got a little more refined

You can now gently choose how the finished video looks, right in the preview. A look softly framed by a pale margin (with corners rounded just a touch), and a timestamp whose orientation you can change while keeping it horizontally written. Neither is a setting — just touch the screen to choose. Your choice is remembered next time.

The camera grew a little quieter

It borrows your device’s lenses, so a pinch moves naturally to ultra-wide or zoom. While filming, a faint grid and level quietly stay near, and the finished video keeps a small timestamp. No new settings — just a nicer feel to shooting.

It came alive on a real device

Itsutsu launched on a real iPhone, and the whole flow — shoot, dots fill, today becomes one — worked end to end. We also built the everyday scaffolding: the day boundary (4:00 a.m.) and a gentle “rescue” for a yesterday you forgot to save.

Itsutsu was born

The concept landed: “A day, in just five.” Two seconds × five, shown to no one — a gentle monochrome video diary. We shaped it not as an app for shooting, but for receiving your day, later.
